Materials for Landscape Drawing

  • Eraser. Big ones you can hold in your manus practice a much meliorate job than just the pencil tips.

  • Prang Crayons. These are a bit softer than other crayons so they sometimes wait like oil pastels. They also have a some nice brown shades that Crayola does not have unless y'all buy their larger boxes.
  • Crayola Crayons. The reliable brand that always works well. The 24 pack has some of my favorite golden orange and yellowish colors that seem a flake richer and warmer than the ones Prang has.

How to Depict a Landscape

  1. Draw 5 angled lines.

  2. Add together the lake, tree and windmill.

  3. Add trees above the lake.

  4. Draw clouds to a higher place the trees.

  5. Add a firm, tree and car below the lake.

  6. Draw buildings at an angle on the bottom angle.

  7. Add together windows and doors.

  8. Depict large tops of trees on the bottom edge.

  9. Trace with a marker and color with colored pencils.
